Partners Reentry Center is a walk-in center in Anchorage, Alaska that provides timely reentrant-centered services to individuals releasing from incarceration to homelessness. Since opening in 2013, Partners Reentry Center has become a key part of enhancing public safety and reducing recidivism in Alaska.

Pre-Release Reentry ClassesCo-Creator of Pre-Release Reentry Classes (taught by community-based agencies) in the Alaska Department of Corrections and sponsor of the Spring Creek Correctional class “Non-Violent Conflict Resolution” class for maximum security inmates.

Unity in CommunityCo-Creator of the ‘Unity in Community’ public presentation by community members and re-entrants to show all who live in Alaska that, regardless of our backgrounds, we are all part of the same community. This project culminated into a community photography show, an art-show and a 5-part radio series on KSKA, Alaska’s Public Radio.

MAT Post-Release Vivitrol Pilot ProgramCo-Creator of the MAT (Medically Assisted Treatment) Post-Release Vivitrol Pilot Program which provides immediate access to Vivitrol for reentrants who need medical assistance to abstain from using opioids or alcohol.

Alaska Native Reentry GroupCo-Creator/facilitator of the Alaska Native Reentry Group, and ‘Native Navigator’ project in Anchorage, Alaska.

Prisoner Re-Entry WalkCreator of the Prisoner Re-Entry Walk, a community education event that occurs once a month to demonstrate what reentering after incarceration looks and feels like in Alaska.

Repurposing ProgramCreator of the ‘Repurposing Program’ which builds community by taking in furniture donations from real estate agents and their clients and re-donating the furniture to reentrants who are able to move into permanent housing.

HALOCreator of the HALO project, which provides immediate emergency shelter housing to justice-involved individuals who the Anchorage Police Officers believe should not be taken to jail but rather diverted to safe, sober housing and wrap-around services for mental health or substance abuse issues.
